THE VOTES ARE IN...AND...MEGAN IS NAMED MOM OF THE YEAR

I realize there are alot of wonderful mothers out there who diserve recognition and to them i wish the very best of mothers day to, but there is one that has had an outstanding year worth being named MOTHER OF THE YEAR. Megan, in my book, is worthy of an award. unfortunatly i don't have an award and am not proficiant enough in the blogging world to find a cyber award, so this is the best i can do, till i get home. Here are a few reasons, in no perticular order, i believe her to be mom of the year. If you agree feel free to leave your feelings on a comment.
1. A year ago almost to the week Megan found out she was going to be a single mom with two beautiful but energetic kids, a builder that doesn't know how to tell the truth, a new house and all the problems that follow in the first year, a trampaline for a lawn(the sprinkling system wasn't done right, flooded the yard, and it became a mess, more than once), and the unknown of where i was going or what i was actualy going to do in Iraq. But with grace i watched her take care of it all as i pulled out my hair and stressed and worried cause i couldn't help.
2. Megan supported me all the way!!!! She could have talked about how much it sucked and how bad things where and made the situation worse(many wifes do) but she didn't. Although we both had our moments when life sucked and we felt pretty picked on, megan was always telling me how much she was proud of what i was doing and ecouraging me all the time to be posative. Without her there for me i don't know how i would have made it.
3. My boys still know me and love me and megan has made sure i was a part of thier world every day. Example: Just after i left megan went and got jace and holton pictures, in a plastic frame, to sleep with and to pray with and to eat with. Evan when i was home on leave they would need "their daddy" before they would go to bed.
4. After a year of fighting our builder, by herself, she finaly got our drive way redone( after three times and alot of lies).
5. Having two energetic kids alone church becomes a chore and not an easy one without help, but without complaint each week she dresses them to perfection loads, food, diappers, ect... and with a smile takes them to church. It is evadent not only in the love my boys have for church and the level of knowledge, for their age, but megan has grown sooo much spiritualy.
6. over the last year megan has lost 14lbs(which i didn't evan know she had to lose) evan with all that she has delt with she has made goals and reached them. SHE HAS ALWAYS LOOKED LIKE A MODEL BUT NOW!!
7. Her love and compassian for our boys is unmatched by a mother
8. Her ability to laugh and have fun can lighten any mood and makes for a wonderful enviroment at home.
9. Over the last year she has had to deal with countless ours of lost sleep becasue of a phone call from her boy friend in Iraq.
10. I could go on forever, but i don't have much time left so all in all Megan has truly been a super mom this year and a super wife. To me she by far deserves an award and it is unfortunate that all i can do to show my apriciation is try my hardest to express, in a few words, how much i love her. Unfortunatly there aren't words to discribe that.

MEGAN I LOVE YOU HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
